Privacy Policy

Safe Power Services respects our customers’ privacy. We do require personal information from our customers to supply the services we offer. This Privacy Policy has been created in alignment with the Privacy Act 2020 (Section No.22). We outline the types of information we may collect, how that information may be used, and with whom the information may be shared. Some of the services we provide require personal information about our customers’ clients. This information will only be used to complete the work requested by the customer on behalf of their client. Clients’ personal information is subject to the same privacy policies we apply to our customers.
 
What personal information do we require?

In order to provide the services we offer, we may require the following information from our customers:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Billing information
  • Client details
  • Electricians details
  • Energy retailer account details
  • Site details
  • Network application details

Provision of the above information is voluntary. However, we are not able to provide our services without the above information.

Who may we share your personal information with?

The personal information we collect is shared with our staff in order to complete the work you engage us for. We may share personal information with our subcontractors and the Orion and/or MainPower Network where necessary. With your permission, we may also contact your energy retailer on your behalf for work orders. We will only provide third parties with the information required for them to perform their work.

Your information will not be shared with any other third parties except where required by law or with your explicit consent. We will not sell or lease the personal information we collect.

How do we keep your information safe?

Your personal information is secured in a digital database in our server and a hardcopy in our filing system. Only authorised employees have access to your files. We maintain an internet firewall and managed antivirus in order to take reasonable steps to prevent our digital database from being compromised.

Can I see my personal information?

You are able to request a copy of the personal information we possess about you at any time. You may also request that we correct any personal information that you believe is inaccurate.
