Project Administrator

Process orientated? Meticulous in your attention to detail? Able to juggle several balls at one time? Do we have a challenge for you!
This role provides project administration support to Safe Power Services and its customers by coordinating and collating the required information to schedule jobs for the field team.

Job requirements:

  • Project administration and coordination – collating job information and paperwork, setup, and management of jobs in the database and network websites, and scheduling for the field team
  • Finance administration – interpret job results from the field to ensure all costs are captured, drafting invoices in Xero
  • Documentation management, record keeping, data entry
  • Inbox and calendar management (across multiple accounts)
  • Provide detailed responses and estimates to customer queries
  • General administration and office duties – meter/stock orders, internal building/office audits
  • Point of contact for incoming phone calls and meeting/greeting any visitors to the Safe Power Services office
  • Attend quarterly health and safety meetings and provide minute-taking

Mandatory requirements for all applicants include:

  • Being a New Zealand citizen – note you must currently reside in New Zealand to apply for this role
  • A minimum of at least five years administration experience
  • Advanced-expert level within MS Office programmes
  • Holding a New Zealand full and clean driver’s license

This role is for someone who is not afraid of repetition, can wrangle a calendar like a pro and enjoys managing deadlines and multiple requests.

This role is required from October onwards. We are recruiting early to ensure we have time to onboard before the end of the year with our existing team member retiring.

Electrician

  • Providing in-field electrical services work and the delivery of services and project management requirements as requested
  • A requirement to be able to work at heights – ladder and pole climbing
  • Ensuring the delivery of services and project management requirements as requested
  • Ensuring a strict sense of health and safety compliance, ethics, confidentiality, and professional service delivery
  • Responding to the changing environment of the electrical contracts and services we offer
  • Strong and concise communications directly with customers – suppliers, property owners, and sub-contractors
  • Exceptional time management skills and proactive problem-solving skills

 Mandatory requirements for all applicants include:

  • Being a New Zealand citizen – note: you must currently reside in New Zealand to apply for this role
  • A current New Zealand practicing license
  • Registration as an Electrical Inspector (relevant to Inspector role only)
  • Knowledge of all relevant industry rules and regulations
  • Holding a New Zealand full and clean driver’s license
  • Being computer and app-based literate
